Overview

Dr. Julia Appel is an associate clinical professor and has practiced primary care at the University Eye Center since 1992. She was an associate in private practice for 17 years and served as the director of the Spellman Center for HIV Related Disease Optometry Clinic from 1992 to 2003. Dr. Appel received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the SUNY College of Optometry in 1991 and completed a residency in Rehabilitative Optometry at the Northport VA Medical Center.
