Tanya Carter, OD

Associate Clinical Professor


Dr. Tanya Carter has been an associate clinical professor at SUNY Optometry since 1988. She is responsible for clinical supervision of third year interns in the University Eye Center and is a past instructor of record for the geriatrics course. Dr. Carter earned her Doctor of Optometry at the SUNY Optometry in 1987 and completed a residency at St. Albans VA Hospital. She is in private practice in Montclair, NJ and has also served in several capacities on the board of the National Optometric Association.
