Dr. Paul Galstian has been an assistant clinical professor at SUNY Optometry since 1997. He is on staff at Cumberland Diagnostic and Treatment Center for SUNY Optometry and does Clinical Instructing with Medical Students from SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He has done extensive research and is the investigator or sub-investigator on more than 25 clinical research trials. He lectured annually at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary to the ophthalmology residents and ophthalmic technicians. Dr. Galstian volunteered for several medical missions in Mexico and Peru. He is the former president and board member of the Optometric Society of the City of New York and has completed two New York City marathons.
